Facing left-handed reliever Sam Henges, Choi lined a slider up the middle for a two-run double to right field. After reaching first base, Choi performed a ceremonial run to the dugout to lift the team’s spirits.

After a Henry Davis walk to load the bases, Jared Triolo laced a two-run double to left center to make it 7-4 Pittsburgh. Choi also scored on the play.

With his first hit in four games since June 16 against San Francisco, Choi raised his season average from .173 to .182 (10-for-55). His RBI increased to eight on the season.
